Introduction

To introduce my self, my name is William Rickard, i'm a 15 year old post-acne sufferer . I have recently featured on a BBC documentary "Dying for Clear skin" which I will talk about in my next post. Also I have featured on BBC Breakfast show talking about my thoughts towards acne.

I want to make a difference even after my face is out of Mainstream media. So I decided to create a blog that will help people with their acne, I hope this will reach out to people that read it. Acne changed me and my life and believe me it isn't the end of the world.

I will go add new posts frequently on how to help with skin and my experiences.

To begin here are a few photos of me:

  1. Hi Will .The documentary last night was incredibly eye opening and as a long sufferer of acne myself I found it really comforting to know that I'm not the only person whose life has changed so dramatically . I'm now 22 years old and I'm desperate to get rid of my acne without going on Roaccutane - can you please post about the treatment you had and where people can get it ? :)

  2. Hey, glad you enjoyed the tv show, so happy you've decided not to take accutane. 22 is such a dreadful age to get acne :( But there's light at the end of the tunnel. Be open and honest with people and you will feel a million times better, don't keep it locked up. I will post about the treatment soon, no problem. :)

  3. The hope was that I would grow out of it but sadly not. At the moment it's easier to hide than to talk about it but you've really inspired me to take control and do something about it and I'm pretty sure you've inspired a lot of others as well so thanks :)

  7. Hey Will, amazing progress, really enjoyed the documentary. Im considering the treatment youve taken after 3 accutane courses and i still have acne. Just got a few questions! How long after the initial consultation was it before you started treatment? And how long was it in between treatment sessions? Thanks man, and congrats again on the skin!

    1. Thank you kind friend!! Yes go for it, Danné is the way forward. Well I had my initial consultation the same day as the treatment as we were filming it for the BBC. But usually as soon as they can fit you in, it varies. Depends on how busy the certain clinic is, there's a few clinics over the country. 2 weeks between each treatment, costing £80 for just face. Or double for back, face and chest.

And thank you, anytime time just ask me, WIlliam x

    2. Got my consultation in 2 weeks, im pretty excited. £80 a session just seems too good to be true! And that includes the enzyme treatment, alkaline wash and laser? How many sessions did it take for you to see an improvement?

    3. Ahh right, good luck with that. £80 is pretty good I guess, but still steep for some people. 100% worth every penny. Yeh that covers most of the stuff. The scarring stuff is a little more expensive, but you don't normally start that until later on. I saw improvements every session, since day 1. You will see a real improvement within 4-6 weeks. You may break out a little bit, but after each treatment, breakouts minimalise and eventually your skin is back in order.

Best of luck, i'm on the way to London at the minute for my next treatment.

  9. Roaccutane/Accutane is a very serious medicine that needs to be taken with consultation of a professional physician. We as Orderpharma.com suggest buying brand Roche Accutane or brand Roche Roaccutane for your acne treatment. Since you cannot look into the ingredient of generic Accutane or generic Roaccutane, we suggest you buying Roche Accutane or Roche Roaccutane.
